Our Team

Bart Horstman


Bart is a researcher, with a background in mechanical engineering. His interests are rehabilitation robotics and preventive health care. His research focuses on bringing rehabilitation technologies to market, specifically exploring ways to deliver novel, low-cost devices to individuals at home. The technologies developed in collaboration with Erasmus MC and Erasmus University need an effective path to reach end users, ensuring accessibility and impact for those who need them most.
